EMC / Thermal:
Detectus AB

There are high demands for
electromagnetic compaibility (EMC) of electronic
products. These demands
are specified for products or systems and not
for components or elements.
Detectus AB has developed a measuring system
with which the designers can measure the intensity
and the location of a radiation source at a
component level. The reults of such a measurement
can be shown as two or three dimensional
colored maps.
The unit includes a built in heat scanner with a high-resolution measuring system for anyone wishing to measure temperature accurately and inexpensively. The measurements are presented graphically as either two or three dimensional images.
The system gives you the possibility to localize small heat sources such as surface-mounted components and detect heat problems early in design stage through continual measurements.

Langer EMV-Technik

The RF 1 probe set contains magnetic field probes and an E-field probe for precompliance tests of printed circuit boards. Measuring the magnetic fields in the area of the module, conducting tracks, components and the modules of the supply system is the basis for selective measures to reduce disturbance emissions.
The passive probes are connected to the 50 Ohm input of a spectrum analyser or oscilloscope and allow comparative measurements of magnetic fields and disturbance currents in the frequency range from 30 MHz to 3 GHz.
All probes have an sheath current damping and are electrically screened.
